The First Year MFA Students at UCSB are delighted
to present their work to the public at an exhibition at the

Red Barn, UCSB Campus

Six artists will be featured in this show:

Rose Briccetti, Marcos Christodoulou, Yumiko Glover,
Sunny Samuel, Peter Sowinski, and Scotty Slade Wagner.

Smorgasbord is a Swedish word, an intriguing portmanteau of the words for
“bread”, “butter” and “table”.  In common English usage, it’s also a good way
to describe the array of works on display, ranging from performance and video,
to painting, sculpture, and installation.

Scotty will give two live performances of
1,000 Years of Trial Child,
a new, sci-fi,tragicomedy in the gallery space

Thursday May 12th at 8pm.  All are welcome.

The entrance to the gallery is on the
north side of the buildingthat faces the bus loop.
The nearest parking on campus can be found at the Mesa Parking Structure
and at Lot 29 after 5pm.
