The local alternative publication, Stateside Magazine will be celebrating it’s 1st anniversary with a  party this Thursday at SOHO.  In a world where print publications are going the way of the dinosaur, Stateside has been fighting the good fight. It is a testament to the hard work of those behind the magazine that it is still going strong a year in. They deserve a good party, and I know they would love to have a huge crowd to help them celebrate.

This weekend there is an art and music extravaganza at Santa Barbara’s own SOHO. From Friday through Monday the club will feature some great art and tons of great music, including a return performance by local favs Volt per Octave, who have come down for a show from their new home in Portland.
